S\u00e4mtliche Weine des Hauses werden k\u00fcnftig einfach als \u00abVin de France\u00bb deklariert. Doch im Falle von Ch\u00e2teau Lafleur beurteile ich den Schritt als konsequent und richtig. Das Weingut sucht damit f\u00fcr sich einen Weg, wie es auf den fortschreitenden Klimawandel reagieren kann. Trotz zunehmender Hitze und Trockenheit l\u00e4sst die AOC Pomerol bis heute n\u00e4mlich fast keine Hitzeschutzmassnahmen und kaum Anpassungen bei Pflanzdichte oder Erziehungssystemen zu. Nach Experimenten auf eigenen Versuchsparzellen entschied sich Ch\u00e2teau Lafleur, Methoden wie diese einzusetzen:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Zulassung niedrigerer Pflanzdichten<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Verwendung von Mulch und Bodendeckern<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Teilweise Beschattung der Laubwand<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Flexible Laubwandh\u00f6hen<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Kontrollierte Bew\u00e4sserung mit Wasser von ausserhalb des \u00f6ffentlichen Netzes<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\nDies sind Instrumente, die in anderen Regionen l\u00e4ngst Standard sind, aber vom Pomerol-Konsortium bisher nicht zugelassen wurden. Mit dem Austritt aus der Appellation und dem Schritt zum \u00abVin de France\u00bb nimmt Ch\u00e2teau Lafleur das Heft nun selbst in die Hand. Die Weinberge bleiben dieselben, die Handschrift des Hauses unver\u00e4ndert.
