Kreativit\u00e4t trifft auf Tradition."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Wir haben Neuigkeiten aus der <strong>kreativen Schweizer Spirituosen-Szene<\/strong>. Vor knapp zwei Monaten sind wir auf ein spannendes St.Galler Start-up Unternehmen gestossen. Der junge Konditor <strong>Benjamin Brunner<\/strong> hat im Alleingang eine Gin-Manufaktur gegr\u00fcndet \u2013 mit dem sinnigen Namen <strong>St.Galler Bibergin<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Gins sind lokal gebrannt und handgefertigt. Die meisten Zutaten sind biologisch zertifiziert und haben, wenn immer m\u00f6glich, eine lokale Herkunft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die erste Edition, der <strong>Bibergin Season No.4<\/strong>, ein klassischer Dry Gin, schmeckt tats\u00e4chlich wie ein typischer <strong>St. Galler Biber<\/strong>\/Biberli. Die Komposition besteht unter anderem aus Botanicals wie Zimt, Ingwer, Piment, Orangen sowie Haseln\u00fcssen und Mandeln. Er ehrt das kulinarische Erbe des St. Galler Bibers, das bis ins 15. Jahrhundert zur\u00fcckreicht. Wer den Gin nicht pur trinken m\u00f6chte, ist mit dem <strong>Gents Swiss Roots Tonic Water<\/strong> bestens bedient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sein neuster Wurf, der <strong>Spitzengin Season No.1<\/strong>, ist ein New Western Dry Gin. Es ist eine Reminiszenz an Brunners Urgrossmutter, die in Nachtarbeit nebenbei f\u00fcr eine Stickerei gearbeitet hat, um das karge Einkommen der Familie aufzubessern. Und nat\u00fcrlich auch an die <strong>weltber\u00fchmte St. Galler Textilindustrie<\/strong>. Der Hals der formsch\u00f6nen Flasche wird durch <strong>Spitzen<\/strong> verziert, welche Brunner zusammen mit der traditionsreichen Stickereifirma Forster Rohner aus St.Gallen konzipiert und mit 10&#8217;000 Stichen pro St\u00fcck hergestellt hat. Der florale Geschmack passt herrlich zum hereinbrechenden Fr\u00fchling mit Botanicals wie Rosen, Lavendel und Veilchen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wir sind schlicht begeistert von den innovativen Produkten des kreativen Jungunternehmers. Er hat uns k\u00fcrzlich verraten, dass bereits im Fr\u00fchsommer ein weiterer Gin lanciert wird (das w\u00e4re dann <strong>No.2<\/strong>) &#8211; passend zur Jahreszeit mit mediterranen Noten von Lindenbl\u00fcten, Majoran und dem hierzulande noch wenig bekannten Quendel.
