Ich war sofort begeistert von der Idee meiner Lehrlingsverantwortlichen und voll dabei. Die Wahl fiel auf Paccot \u2013 Domaine de Colombe \u2013 in F\u00e9chy am Genfersee. Das Bioweingut arbeitet schon lange mit Martel zusammen. Laura Paccot, die junge Betriebsleiterin, freute sich \u00fcber unsere Anfrage und lud mich w\u00e4hrend der Erntezeit zu sich auf das Weingut ein. Urspr\u00fcnglich war der Aufenthalt in den Herbstferien geplant, aber dann startete die Weinlese unerwartet fr\u00fch und wir mussten umdisponieren. Ich bekam kurzfristig Urlaub von der Schule. Alles ging sehr schnell. Meine Freunde und Freundinnen fanden mein Projekt cool.\r\n\r\nIch setzte mich an einen Fensterplatz in den Zug und kurz nach Bern erlebte ich mit dem ersten Blick auf den Genfersee meinen ersten grossen Romandie-Moment: Wow, ist das sch\u00f6n hier! Allerdings hatte ich mir die Gegend anders vorgestellt. Weniger steile H\u00e4nge, eher flach, wie am Bodensee. Am ersten Tag auf dem Weingut bekam ich Gummistiefel und eine Rebschere. Keine Handschuhe. Dann ging es in den Weinberg. Dort standen schon einige Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter. Alle sprachen Franz\u00f6sisch. Die Verst\u00e4ndigung war zu Beginn noch etwas holprig. Trotzdem: ein guter Anfang, es gefiel mir. Zum Mittagessen trafen wir uns in einem Restaurant in F\u00e9chy. Es gab Salat, Suppe, ein Hauptgericht \u2013 und Wein.\r\n\r\nAm Nachmittag zur\u00fcck in die Reben. Die Arbeit im Weinberg war hart. Vor allem meine Fingern\u00e4gel litten darunter. Ich verstand nicht alles auf Franz\u00f6sisch, aber es wurde immer besser. Manchmal behalfen wir uns mit Deutsch oder Englisch. Es war das erste Mal, dass ich ausserhalb der Schule Franz\u00f6sisch gesprochen habe und davon profitierte ich echt.\r\n\r\nUnd ich lernte einiges \u00fcber die Arbeit im Weinberg und \u00fcber die Weinherstellung. Wein fasziniert mich und ich m\u00f6chte mehr dar\u00fcber erfahren. Besonders beeindruckte mich, wie sich der Geschmack des jungen Weins w\u00e4hrend der G\u00e4rung ver\u00e4ndert.
